Chef Paul Shufelt Makes A Lasting Impact on the Canadian Food Scene

Edmonton, AB – Foods trends are ever-changing but it is evident that Chef Paul Shufelt has proven himself as a key player in the Canadian food scene cooking up classic comfort food with a contemporary twist. Whether it’s sharing his latest mouth-watering recipe on City TV, CTV, or Global News, raising money to support a local charity, or refining his menu at one of the eight Century Hospitality Group restaurants, the dishes Chef Paul creates along with his vision for food is making a lasting impression on Canadians.

Arguably Edmonton’s most recognized celebrity chef and a recent addition to the Food Network Canada’s online community, Chef Paul won’t be slowing down any time soon. Giving back to the community where he lives and works is important to Paul. Coming up this month Chef Paul will be hosting and leading the Hooked On Fish dinner, in support of Slow Food Edmonton, at LUX Steakhouse, which aims to raise awareness for eating sustainable seafood, while raising funds for the local Slow Food chapter. He also recently wrapped the photo shoots for the upcoming Delux Celebrity Chefs, a program that raises money for countless local charities. To date this program has donated over $30000.00 to over two-dozen great local groups. In addition, Chef Paul will be working with the Edmonton Oilers Rookie Development camp to teach young athletes about shopping, cooking, and eating healthy.

“It’s been great to be able to share my love of food and home cooking with an even wider audience,” says Chef Paul Shufelt, “I think Canadians have really responded to this approach and I’m looking forward to bringing even more great food to the table.”
